Welcome to Pudding Lane, a London baking blog written from a 65sq. ft kitchen in Bermondsey by me, Lucy (hi!).

I launched my blog from a tiny scrubbed kitchen table on 1st January 2014, just a few months after I moved to the city I now call home. I was in awe of the incredible baking going on in London, and set about creating my own recipes, always using seasonal ingredients thanks to the incredible produce available at markets across the city. 

I am not a professional baker, but I am lucky enough to now work as a food stylist and recipe writer, an avenue that grew entirely from this little corner of the internet. I started writing about my experimentations in the kitchen as a way of documenting what I was making, and over the past five years have adored watching this little community grow and grow.
