- Bridget Jones
Once upon a time, a fresh-faced thirteen year-old L watched Bridget Jones and laughed at the tragedy of the situation. Nine years on, an older and on occasion wiser L has seen the film enough times to quote from memory and to understand that spanx are not to be trivialised.
Love my London life as I do, I've come to realise that real life is not always a bed of roses. Sometimes, rubbish days happen to good people. And when they do, it is very easy to crawl home and merge with one's sofa in a mass of self-pity and despair.

The beautiful thing about this cake is that it can be made with the contents of aforementioned fridge, and is ready to be devoured in less than five minutes. V. Good.

3 tbsp vegetable oil
3tbsp milk

Thank you for a lovely recipe. I made this a few minutes ago. It is really easy and quick! I used melted butter, though instead of the oil. I think it makes the cooking time less. I made two. The first one was quite dry after 2 minutes and the second one just right with half dry and half sauce. I do have a stronger wattage microwave that could be the reason as well. Thanks for a great recipe! Kindest regards,
